Every year the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL) holds an annual conference to discuss pressing topics, share litigation strategies, and generally allow criminal defense attorneys and firms to get to know one another. The 28th annual meeting was held on the weekend of June 26th this year in Miami. Attorneys BC Taylor and Bradley Waldrop of Taylor & Waldrop Attorneys attended.
As the only Florida-wide organization completely devoted to criminal defense attorneys, the FACDL chooses members who promote excellence and integrity in and out of the courtroom. It is a not-for-profit group that was formed to provide charitable resources to Florida's criminal defense lawyers, as well as support them in their educational endeavors. To that end, attendees to the annual meetings receive Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits that can count towards further certification.
Both Attorney BC Taylor and Attorney Bradley Waldrop understand the benefits of always learning more in their fields and that a great criminal defense attorney is remains on top of the changing laws and procedures. By attending the 28th Annual FACDL Conference, they were able to gain invaluable experience and knowledge, as well as network with other renowned colleagues.
